No two roofing jobs look the same. That's kind of the point. Whether it's a high-end residential build with standing seam panels and a custom fabricated chimney cap, or a commercial structure that needs clean metal fascia and precise panel work, the skill set required is completely different - and so is the level of detail that goes into each one.

Standing seam metal roofing is one of those systems that looks simple from a distance but demands serious precision up close. The panels have to be laid straight, the seams have to lock tight, and the underlayment beneath it all has to be done correctly before a single panel goes down. We use quality self-adhering underlayment on these installs because what's underneath matters just as much as what you can see.

The custom chimney cap work is where metal fabrication really comes into play. A cap like that isn't something you pull off a shelf. It's built to fit the specific dimensions of the chimney, finished to match the surrounding roof system, and designed to keep water out while still allowing proper ventilation. That kind of work requires a fabricator who knows what they're doing - not just a roofer with a sheet metal brake.

On the commercial side, the scope shifts. Corrugated metal panels on a rural building, flat metal fascia panels on a bank branch, architectural metal cladding on a modern commercial structure - each one calls for a different approach. But the standard we hold ourselves to stays the same across all of it. Tight seams, clean lines, proper fastening patterns, and no shortcuts on the details that keep water where it belongs.

That's really what the Friday Spotlight is about. It's not just finished roofs. It's the precision that goes into every material, every transition, every custom piece we fabricate and install. The variety of work we do across residential and commercial projects is broad - but the commitment behind all of it is the same.
